PREPARE CAKE BOARD: To make a base for the cakes, trace spider shape (using Soccer Ball and Mini Ball Pans as patterns) on double-thick cake boards taped together. Wrap boards and craft block (6 inch square craft block or 6x6x1 in. styrofoam square) with foil.

BAKE CAKES: Bake your favorite cake recipe or mix in prepared Soccer Ball pan and Mini Ball pan, following recipe instructions. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely. Arrange large cake on prepared cake board.

ICE CAKES: Tint chocolate buttercream icing black and buttercream icing green. Thickly spatula ice small ball cake with black icing; attach to large cake on cake board. Using tip 16 pull-out stars, make black and green body stripes.
